Purearth has a design centric approach and I am an art aficionado so the launch was bound to have an art element to it. Michael Lam, a local artist was commissioned to create an installation – A mannequin hand painted to depict the ethos of Purearth: EQUAL. ETHICAL. ECOLOGICAL. We displayed this for a silent auction and naturally I bid the highest so this stunning piece of work is now ours and will take pride of place in our studio.
Hong Kong is so dynamic with so much buzz and our launch party was just like that – with free flow Moet and nibbles, our guests enjoyed experiencing the curated Purearth collection. It was overwhelming to see the amazing response and guests flying in from overseas to support my work. Years of my hard work and passion poured into my brand and here I was, excited and a tad nervous too to see what everyone thought of my collection. The countdown had gone from days to hours and our team just couldn't wait to show off our labour of love at the official launch.
Guests indulged in mini hand massages with our divine Mandarin Body Butter. We had a mixologist on hand to craft cocktails with Purearth inspired ingredients. My fave? The Himalayan High, a Pinky botanical vodka infused with Kashmir lavender and rimmed with wild pomegranate Himalayan pink salt crystals.
Ice pops? Yes please ☺ These delicious ice pops made with our choicest skincare ingredients : turmeric, rose and lemon were a total sell out!
Dr. Shveta Amit, BAMS, a dear friend and a registered Ayurvedic doctor was brought on board for pre booked Ayurvedic consultations over the weekend, offering dosha and nadi pariksha (pulse readings) and dietary / lifestyle guidances to our guests.
